Gomez
Gomez is one of my favorite bands of all-time, period. They’ve experienced great popularity in Europe, but have yet seen the same admiration in the US. Their new album, A New Tide (ATO Records), has them going back to their original sound, dropping their fruitless quest for more marketability. The changeover can be heard from albums like 2004’s, Split the Difference (Virgin Records) .
Gomez will be in SF for two nights at the Fillmore. -JS
